The other day I asked Kade to go pick out some clothes for himself and get dressed, and this is what he picked! What a stylish 2 year old, right? I think if we had stayed in LA we could have gotten an agent for him and he’d be modeling for Ralph Lauren right now. Lucky for me, he has no brand loyalty, so I can still shop at thrift stores, clothing swaps and use my “Kohl’s cash”.
I just thought he was looking so dapper, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity for a few photos. So I dressed Berlin to match and we had a shoot on the front porch. I love how worried she looks in the one above, and then how she’s totally loving it in the one below.
And this tender one with him holding her hand and her just laying back on him, chillin’… PRECIOUS! Their relationship will be just like this every day, right??

In an effort to encourage me to take more “every day” photos, each Friday I’m going to try to put up a photo booth style post. The kids really are changing so fast and they both are so freakin’ expressive that I want to try to capture a bit of that in a digital scrapbook. And why not share those pics with you, right?
So without further ado, I give you Berlin in pink and Kade dancing! (Not great descriptions I realize, but those were the filenames and my brain is too tired to come up with something snappy.)

Mother-Daughter Photo Shoot

The other day after Kade went down for his nap, I was playing games with Berlin in the mirror. She was so happy and cuddly that I couldn’t help but grab the camera and take a few shots of the two of us. We’ll make sure these first photo shoots get added to her portfolio when she starts her modeling career!
