My friend, Traci, and I decided to take the kids to the beach this morning and it was SO much fun.  Kade and Emilia thoroughly wore themselves out (and their moms) digging in the sand, touching the “big water” and playing in the “little water”.  I’ll admit right up front that this post is a little bit of an indulgence for the grandparents – no how-to’s, no tips or life lessons, just lots of adorable pictures of a little blond boy with his toes in the sand.

He was very excited to learn that there were bubbles at the beach, not just in the kitchen sink and bathtub.

Possibly a survivor of Oceanic Flight 815?  Without a doubt cuter than Jack or Sawyer!

Warming up in mom’s sweatshirt before our picnic lunch.

Isn’t it awesome that God made the ocean to be mesmerizing – even for toddlers!

He thought it would be a great game to try to take mom’s sweatshirt off over his head, since the neck was so big.
