At the beginning of the school year, our homeschool group took a field trip to Ardenwood Farms. I’ve had these pictures a while but haven’t posted them mostly because I think I’m embarrassed to admit to my family and anyone who knows how I grew up that I buckled my kids in carseats, drove on an interstate and paid admission to see chickens. Nevertheless, here they are and at least Kade & Berlin didn’t judge me.
Waiting for rain…(I doubt that’s what he’s thinking, but that’s definitely what every farmer I grew up around was thinking when they looked like that)
Kade loved the peacocks but unfortunately was not quite stealthy enough to pet any.
Again, the collapsible wagon was hero of the day.
Feeding and petting the goats. Berlin could not be convinced that it was a good idea to pet them.
After tomorrow, these may not be there anymore.
She would make a darling farm girl!
The best part of the day was that at the last minute, Kyle was able to go with us! Yea for two farm kids taking their two city kids to the farm!!
