This week we gave the Little Man his first haircut. It’s debatable whether or not he “needed” one, but I desperately wanted to save that little curl for the baby book.
My mom had given me the tip to feed him marshmallows to distract him and hopefully keep him still. Kade loved the idea.
Dad’s job was to keep his attention. My job was to not go crazy with the scissors. Success was moderate…
So far, the marshmallows were only providing a nice sticking surface for the falling hair.
In the end, though, he was as adorable as ever!
Plus, just like getting a puppy, he promised to take care of it.
Now it was time to do something about that marshmallow mess.
